Forests of the World
With a vast assortment of miniature landscapes from the Americas and Asia, Forests of the World exudes a touch of the exotic.
Living fossils:
Explore the Fern Glen’s “living fossils”straight out of a dinosaur book.
Multimedia show in the Grotto:
Then head to the Grotto to watch a multimedia show about the origins of life.
The waterfall:
Listen for the whoosh of the waterfall and then follow the path past gorgeous cherry blossoms and rhododendrons up to the ornamental rice and tea terraces…and onwards to the Flowering Clay Wall – a uniquely reinforced, nearly vertical flowerbed.
The Aviary
Keep heading up, up, up to visit some fellow fans of heights in the Aviary (albeit with brightly coloured feathers) in the Aviary ...and even further up to the Viewing Platform for a dizzying birds-eye view of Forests of the World below.
