Gardens & Wine: The South Tyrol Enjoyment Package

Amidst the fall foliage, we offer tours to the venerable Versoaln vine at Katzenzungen Castle – together with a wine tasting. A guided tour of the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle is also included in the package.

THE SOUTH TYROL ENJOYMENT PACKAGE

On Thursdays in August, September and October, we offer the South Tyrol Enjoyment Package: Gardens & Wine, which comprises a wine tasting and an excursion to view the Versoaln vine at Katzenzungen Castle in Prissiano. The package also includes a guided tour of The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, where you will view a golden replica of a 7,000-year-old grape seed that was a gift from the nation of Georgia, as well as newly discovered 2,400-year-old grape seeds from South Tyrol.


The Versoaln Vine: the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle assumed patronage of this grapevine in 2006. It is the largest and probably oldest grapevine in the world.

Reservations must be made at least one day in advance.
