Partnerships and Memberships
Within a very few short years, the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle have grown into a powerful lure for tourists; this plays a significant role in Merano’s revival as a popular spa resort town. Strong partnerships that the Gardens have forged with local business also give support in this regard.PARTNER

Working Together
The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle have forged close working relationships with Merano’s other tourist attractions and the industry in general. This increases the visibility of the Gardens and benefits hotels, which in turn reap the rewards of more Trauttmansdorff visitors. Trauttmansdorff also created Sissi’s Path in collaboration with the City of Merano. The footpath – which is the same route that Empress Sissi of Austria followed during her sojourns at Trauttmansdorff Castle – leads from the Gardens into the Merano city centre, passing villas and residences along the way. Because the footpath encourages the pleasures of walking, it raises environmental awareness for visitors and residents alike.MEMBERSHIPS AND PARTNERSHIPS
