Getting Started
How do I start the game?
After purchasing your ticket at the ticket office, you will receive a QR code and a game guide. Simply scan the QR code, send the pre-filled WhatsApp message, and your adventure begins.
Do I need to book in advance, or are there fixed start times?
No. You can start the game at any time during your visit. No reservation is required, and there are no fixed start times.
Is there a time limit?
No. You can play entirely at your own pace.

What do I need to play?
You'll need a smartphone with WhatsApp installed, a mobile data connection, and enough battery life for around two hours of gameplay.
Does everyone need their own smartphone?
No. One smartphone is enough for the entire group. If you prefer, the game can also be followed on multiple devices at the same time.
Does the game work with all mobile network providers?
Generally, yes. However, network coverage may vary depending on your provider. In some areas of the Gardens, TIM users may experience connection issues. If you're playing as a group, we recommend using the smartphone with the strongest mobile connection.

No. Escape Garden is completely self-guided. All instructions, clues, and puzzles are provided throughout the game.
Where does the game take place?
The entire adventure takes place within the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle. You do not need to leave the Gardens or enter any restricted areas.

The game guide is an essential part of the experience. Some puzzles can only be solved with its help, so be sure to keep it with you throughout the game.
