Botanical Treasure Hunt (April 6th)

ON YOUR MARKS - GET SET - GO: Family Treasure Hunt in the Gardens!

The botanical treasure hunt will take place on Easter Monday in German and Italian!

In search of the botanical egg, children and adults alike set off on a joyful treasure hunt through the springtime blooms of the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle.

Accompanied by the Gardens’ guides, families take part in an engaging walk filled with colours, scents and fascinating botanical discoveries. Along the way, there is plenty to observe, explore and puzzle over: where might the mysterious “botanical egg” be hidden among tulips, flowering shrubs and vibrant spring scenery?

At the end of the treasure hunt, children take centre stage in a creative workshop. With the support of the educational team, they create their very own Easter egg, decorating it with natural colours, floral motifs and plenty of imagination. A shared moment designed to spark creativity and the joy of making something together.

A special Easter holiday event, ideal for families looking to combine nature, creativity and meaningful time together, surrounded by the beauty of spring at Trauttmansdorff.

Secure your place for the whole family in advance! The number of participants per guided tour is limited.

The event is intended for families with children aged 6 to 14.
A maximum of two adults per family may take part.
Children participate accompanied by an adult.

Please note that the regular admission ticket to the Gardens is not included and must be purchased in addition to the treasure hunt fee. For admission to the Gardens, family tickets and mini family tickets are available.
