James Morrison

James Morrison returns with renewed energy
With Fight Another Day, his seventh studio album, the British singer-songwriter marks twenty years since his breakthrough while clearly focusing on a new beginning shaped by reflection and hope.

Following the international success of his debut album Undiscovered (2006), which topped the charts and produced the global hit You Give Me Something, and after winning the Brit Award for Best British Male, Morrison consciously closed a chapter in 2022 with a newly recorded Best Of.

Written in 2023, the songs on Fight Another Day represent an honest and introspective fresh start. The album explores themes of mental health, inner strength and optimism, blending emotional depth with groove and uplifting energy. Alongside the powerful title track, the record features vibrant, positive songs such as Cry Your Tears On Me, Fill My Glass and New Day, as well as the stripped-back piano ballad The Man Who Can’t Be Loved. With Little Wings, a tribute to his daughters, Morrison delivers one of the album’s most personal moments.
