Discover how tourism transformed South Tyrol in the 1970s and 1980s, through the stories of those who experienced it firsthand.
"We once had a couple of girls staying with us and they walked into the village wearing just their bikinis, and that was a bit of a scandal back then. And then the shop assistant told them in no uncertain terms that they shouldn’t go in there wearing only their bikinis. They should first get properly dressed and then they could come and buy something." (Anni Ebner)
