Discover how tourism transformed South Tyrol in the 1970s and 1980s, through the stories of those who experienced it firsthand.
"So, we needed rooms for these guests that we called “signours” in Ladin, in other words “signori” or “ladies and gentlemen”. Why? It just seemed to us that they were all rich people, all wealthy people, because my father didn’t have a car back then, he had a Vespa but nothing else.
