What status will travel have in future societies? How will travelling and being on the road change in the near or distant future? What will a journey of the future look like and where will it go?

The Touriseum - South Tyrolean Museum of Tourism in Merano is looking for creatively formulated short literary texts (prose, poetry, free text forms) on the "Future of Travelling".

What status will travel have in future societies? How will travelling and being on the road change in the near or distant future? What will a journey of the future look like and where will it go?

We are looking for contributions with a maximum text length of 1,000 characters (including spaces) in German or Italian. Please include a short cv (in a separate document, max. 300 characters). Only one unpublished text may be submitted per author. Each contribution must be unpublished and independently written, it must not infringe any third-party rights, and the copyright must be held by the author.

The selected texts will be exhibited in the staircase of Trauttmansdorff Castle in the course of the 2024 season, presented at a vernissage and published in a small anthology. No fee is envisaged; the selected authors will each receive a copy of the publication.

To be submitted to info@touriseum.it with the subject "Future of Travelling".
