An agreement between the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle and the Association of South Tyrolean Guides and Tour Leaders, which was signed in 2013, stipulates that only guides who are specially qualified and trained by Trauttmansdorff itself may lead groups through the grounds, and are the only ones authorized to give information about the various areas within the complex or the plants.

Tour leaders are allowed to give their groups a short introductory presentation about Trauttmansdorff, but may do so only at the entrance.  The map available at the visitors’ center will help you find your bearings, together with the information columns in three languages that are scattered along the route.
