Information for Coach and Tour Groups
To ensure a relaxed and enjoyable visit to the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, we recommend planning for a stay of 3 to 5 hours. The gardens cover 12 hectares and include 100 meters of elevation – there is plenty to explore!
If you're short on time, the central area of the gardens is located right near the main entrance and is easily accessible.
Catering
Please note that setting up tables and benches for group catering is not permitted – this applies both in front of the visitor center and in the parking areas.
However, there is a restaurant inside the gardens that offers group menus upon request.
Guided Tours
All guided tours within the Gardens must be conducted exclusively by the staff of the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle.

The most important information about group tours at a glance!
In the center of the complex sits Trauttmansdorff Castle, where Empress Elisabeth, affectionately known as Sissi, sojourned for several months in the years 1870 and 1889. Today the castle is home to the Touriseum, the South Tyrol Province Museum of Tourism, which covers 250 years of Alpine tourism history in a most entertaining way.
