During the garden season, the events presented by the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle are an important part of what makes Merano so attractive. Sunday-morning brunches on the Sissi Terrace are as popular with the locals as they are with visitors; this is also true for balmy summer evenings spent at the Water Lily Pond and the top-flight Garden Nights concerts that take place on the Lake Stage.
